Val and Lea met in 1992 in the middle of their blossoming music careers, and have been working together ever since. They connect not only as musicians, but as mothers and intelligent women, fascinated by the universe and the world around them.
She has loved music her entire life, producing with a handful of hit singers/rappers. She carried her creative talents into her role as a mom. She continues to produce music and pursue music along with Valerie as a partner in Rhyme Verses Reason.
Songwriter, singer, producer, mom and wife. Her passion for music has continued to thrive throughout her life even now. She has taken up the guitar, and is currently working on the Rhyme Verses Reason project with Lea as a new endeavor toward the future!
Val and Lea lived parallel lives, raising children close to the same age, working on music with other groups, and making a living in the public sector, all while creating space for friendship and collaboration. They decided one day at a concert that they wanted to start a podcast together. This grew from podcast to 22 and the Seen, the musical group that delivers their extraordinary talents to the world.
